Tuberous View Photos

Tuberous breasts are ones that are “tuberous” in shape, with very prominent areolae and a small diameter breast base. Placing a large implant with its large diameter behind this small breast base would produce a double countour deformity, even if the implant were placed subglandular (on top of the muscle). In order to reshape the breasts so there will be a smooth transition from the edge of the breast gland tissues to the edge of the implants, a circle nipple lift is usually necessary to correct this deformity.  Click on View Photos to see patient's with this shape of breast and the results of the procedure they chose.
